Yeah, I'm late and I'm going to be very late. The next time I post a page, it will be next Wednesday. BUT on the brightside, I will post two pages next Wednesday.

It was a busy weekend. One of my best friends ever, Eric, left New York today. He will be back in the spring, but I'm still going to miss him like hell. I knew he was leaving for awhile, but it didn't quite hit me until I hugged him for the last time last night. We hugged several times and then I left the bar with wide eyes, trying not to get misty. People come and people go. Such is life.

We had some good fucking times. Man. Time for bed.

Today, I finished page 17 so I will not spend Tuesday night rushing to finish it. This morning, when I started inking, I thought it would take no time at all, but it ended up taking most of the day. Of course, there were frequent breaks. It took much longer than I thought. Even easy pages take a long time.

I scanned all of page 14 at work. I went home early before I had a chance to reassemble the page and post it. I had the saved the panels in my e-mail, but when I came home, I accidently discarded the e-mail with two of the pages. Whoops! I'll be able to post it tomorrow though.

weeklycomicpage is back with a full page as you can see! And what a page! The blacks are blacker and the whites are whiter! I finally learned how to scan black and white art correctly on the scanner at work. Perhaps someday, I'll rescan the other pages.

I'm finally very satisfied on how a comic page was scanned, yet it was on the page that was giving me the most trouble. This page seemed to take a long period of time to finish. I worked on this page in spurts which made it drag on and on. I would have sulked about it, but at least it looks sharp.

Regrettably, I will miss another page. I'm on vacation next week, so I won't have access to the scanner at work. I guess I could come into work just to scan the page, but I don't dare risk coming in to the office where I may be called upon to work. I could come after hours, but that would be creepy. In two weeks, I'll be back with AT LEAST one full page. In the interim, I can make more friends on comicspace.

Man, I'm ready for bed. I had a full day of work and then I interned at the P.I.T. It was a standard night and I was in a very silly, but fun scene at Improdome. Now it's time for bed and I'm damn glad that it's cooled off. Now I won't wake up in my own sweat.

I was just about done with page 3 yesterday and I certainly could have finished it, but then I decided to stop and finish it today. I want to give it one more day and maybe I'll see what else I can do to the page to give it that little extra something.

I'll post page 3 tomorrow evening. Plus, I want to experiment with this little deadline. The thing is, on Wednesday I intern at the P.I.T. so I have to leave the apartment by 8:15 so that's why I've been posting the pages by Tuesday evening. I think I should be able to post everything in under an hour though.

You know, I haven't really done as much research and networking as I should have. I mean, I will.

I have made it my mission to complete one comic page a week. Well, depending on how the story is going and my schedule, it could be a few panels or even one panel, but ideally, I will complete one page.

Will it look rough and quickly put together? Hell, yeah. This is an experiment and also perhaps I'll learn along the way. It's a fun chance to also try out characters and stories I have had in my head for awhile.

So come every Wednesday for a new addition to the story. Please send feedback or any other thoughts.
